On the day of April 7th in the year 2008, the St. Catharines and Area Aquarium Society celebrated something spectacular and proud. They celebrated 50 years of their aquarium club. Original members were contacted, the fund raiser raffle of the aquarium was drawn, cake was eaten, and good time were had by all.

Also from our 50th anniversary meeting, member Bruce Hallet, was given an honorary life time membership. Thanks for all your hard work and your great smiles. Below is a picture of Bruce with his honorary plaque shaking hands with our president Ken Brady.
